SeaSide "Welcome Baskets" Make a Splash!

We are very excited at SeaSide Events this Spring to begin our new "Welcome Basket" service.  Scouring the town for ideas and just the right original items to include in our gifts has been a lot of fun!  We are lucky that Wilmington has many things to choose from like locally grown foods, art, hand made jewelery,photography and we are happy to show off the best of them.
Living at the beach I find myself hostess to many out of town guests.  To offer a warm welcome I always leave "a little something" for people in their hotel room for when they arrive.   I really like the idea of giving a welcome basket or bag to my visitors. It is a thoughtful gesture that I find has been much appreciated especially by those who have not been to our area before.
So, keeping our weary travelers in  mind (and coming from personal experience) SeaSide Events has put together some great baskets for your out of town guests that we  deliver directly to their accommodations.  Welcome Baskets are wonderful for weddings, family reunions, large birthday events, corporate events, bachelorette weekend getaway, honeymoon-you name it.
Our  "Pineapple Basket" includes:

• Bottled water and snacks for some refreshment after a long flight or car ride.
• A local tour guide book and map to help visitors get around.  Our services are personal and extend to include directions to your specific event sites and locations as needed. 
• A token pineapple (the traditional symbol of hospitality)
• A keepsake souvenir
• Postcards because we know our guests will want to write home about their stay!
• Some local reading material: history, local lore, informational
